We don’t just have 15 years of experience working on VW Audi Group vehicles – both our staff and equipment are the equal to any main dealer. We have the latest, up-to-date diagnostic equipment and access to all current repair manuals and technical service bulletins from the manufacturers.
DIAGNOSTICS
All modern vehicles have a variety of onboard computers fitted. These monitor the various systems on the vehicle; whenever they detect a fault a fault code is stored. These fault codes can only be accessed & erased using diagnostic equipment. Depending on the severity of the fault a warning light may come, this is warning you that the fault may be serious and the vehicle should be checked as soon as possible. Other more serious faults may result in the car going into “Limp Mode”, this only occurs with serious engine or automatic gearbox faults.
OUR SERVICE
For accurate fault finding, we know it is essential to have: an in-depth understanding of the system being worked on; accurate test data; fully trained technicians; the latest diagnostics equipment; and a professional working environment. You’ll find all of this guaranteed as a part of our service.
We use the VAS 5051, the same diagnostic equipment as main dealers and which supports guided fault finding to ensure accurate results. We are also able to perform all the same functions as main dealers, including: software updates & code keys; stereos; immobilisers and more.
We’re able to read all fault codes and reset codes, including ABS, Engine Management, DPF regeneration, Airbags, and any other computer controlled features of your car. We can also activate and deactivate additional vehicle functions such as cruise control or the auto-locking of doors.
Our machine and systems are specialised to work specifically for VW Audio Group cars – with us you can feel secure in receiving the best service for your vehicle, not just a generic service with generic machines. VAG vehicles are so much more than generic vehicles and they deserve better care—and we can provide it.
